The HSE University administration has approved proposed structural changes to the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of the Humanities. The changes will streamline managerial processes and better facilitate the faculties’ pursuit of research and educational objectives. The changes will take effect at the start of new academic year on September 1, 2020.
Life in Quarantine at the HSE Dorms
After HSE University transitioned to distance learning, life in the HSE dormitories changed: most students have gone home. The number of onsite staff and service employees has been reduced. MIEM HSE’s Annual Technoshow Will Be Held Online
On May 31, MIEM students will present their projects at the Institute’s annual exhibition, which this year will be held online. On June 23, the HSE Business Incubator will launch a new acceleration programme for business projects at the pre-seed stage (taking them from the prototype to their first sales). Start-ups developed by HSE University students and staff can participate in the programme for free.
'Online Learning Is Something New That Is Changing Me—And the World'
Vitaliy Mingalev, Senior Lecturer at the Sociology and Humanities Faculty of the HSE campus in Perm, has taught for almost 20 years in various higher educational establishments in town, as well as at schools, lyceums and continuing education centres. How HSE Is Transitioning to Distance Learning and Helping Others Do the Same
Conducting online lectures and research seminars on Zoom, providing assistance and useful instructions to the university community—all this is necessary for a smooth transition to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past two weeks, various HSE departments have done all of this in order to provide their students with online instruction. The IT Office particularly felt the weight of this large task. Changes to HSE Summer University Dates
The coronavirus is strong, but together we are stronger. Let’s take care and stay safe, so that we can all soon embrace each other again. Due to recent travel and visa restrictions, as well as in the interest of students' health, the 2020 HSE Summer University session dates have been changed. Programme sessions will now begin on July 15 and conclude on August 20.
